Unfortunately due to my rushing into things & neglecting to check the center bore size of the Simmons, I had to sell them. Center bore was a mere 58mm or so & wasn't too keen to have them modified to 67mm. Made some money back anyway.

And funny you mention that travis, I've had countless people mistaken it for an AE86, full on conversations about it then half way through I correct them about something & they shockingly realize it's a Mitsubishi.

Also just last week I made an appearance @ one of JDM style tuning's End of Month Meet to have a guy say my car was an S12 with a front end conversion ! Cracked me up.

And here are a couple of photos from a meet before a mountain run to Healsville the other night.

Note that the mud flaps were removed that day for a major clean to the paint that's never seen daylight, so they are back on now & the holes in the nose panel to allow for the older style letterbox grille have now been taken care of

Well until I change my mind again haha.. I haven't modified any of the other mounts so I can swap & change, just now I've ran some good quality double sided tape on the AB grille where it meets the nose panel so it's not leaving any slight gap up top when it's screwed down

Doubled sided tape? .............you should have an original rubber strip for that?........not too mention the clips should hold it home. :?

I've got 2 of the AB grilles, the original still has the 4 clips & unmodified whereas my spare grille has the clips removed & mounting for them smoothed out so I can swap over between the letter box grille as the 4 holes in the nose panel are no longer. The rubber strip is still present on my 2nd AB grille, but then I have the double side tape behind it to prevent any gap if I over tighten from the lower mounting points & pulls it forward.
Just being a picky bastard :ugeek:

Haha, I should of elaborated on that actually, when double sided tape gets a mention it doesn't always leave good impressions  I've read some humorous stories on other forums with it being used where it shouldn't

While in the updating sort of mood, I'm going to look at some Impul R701's tomorrow night, specs are 16 x 8 +35.
Removed from an S13 so the center bore should be spot on (which I'll be checking first thing), after running a few sets of wheels brought from Silvia owners before.

They look very much like this http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/ituki976/6203617.html & are period correct which is cool, as seen on this R31.

I've ran a 15 x 7 with an offset as low as +24 before, so I'm sure these shouldn't be a problem fitting in the rear.

You'll need to watch out for the underside of your guards........one bump and you will twist them with that offset!

Didn't end up checking out these wheels, instead today I came across some cheap speakers while shopping to buy some new belts.

So fitted the rear speakers up & then onto the belts, that I don't think have been changed in a very long time.

Also stone guarded the front end.

Nice.........what size are the speakers?

Anything over 6 inch wont fit in the factory pods.......already made that mistake.

Luckily enough 5", almost certain I came across what size to get after reading your thread, otherwise I don't think I would of bothered pulling the pods apart to find out, haha.

Almost tempted now to do the fronts !

Picked up a legitimate bargain yesterday after a stuff up through an online auto supplier, whom false advertised another brand strut that apparently according to their eBay ad they had in stock, so I was able to pick up a new pair of Monroe GT Gas front stuts for the same price of the other brand, which was well over a $100 price drop 8)

Fitted them up today & quite happy with their ride front & rear accompanied by the king springs.

I was only up in the mountains last night putting the little beast through it's paces, so it would of been nice to have had them in a day earlier to get the full feeling all around ;)

Cheers guy's.

Some more updates:

Purchased some new top & bottom radiator hoses w/ new clamps, Super Pro sway bar bush kit, Hella Supertone 118db horns.

Hoses & fresh coolant done today (unsure of the last time it was done), & both the horns have been mounted but not yet wired up behind the front grille (one looks off in the pic, just the angle).

And finally got my passenger headlight sitting almost perfect to the point you cannot tell it was even ever hit, refer to above Black/White photo for the sheer wonkyness.

Friday night me & a friend with some quality photo gear spent the night doing a mini photoshoot, so looking forward to seeing how the old girl turned out which I'll be posting up as soon as I get my hands on them !
