Nice work mate. Judging by the snow on your lancer it must be bloody cold there. Was around 38C in Sydney yesterday, a cool change would be nice.

I follow this thread with interest. Keep the photos coming.

Next job was wireing

it was all running okay, but all the wires are old and have some oxide on it, so i have decided to build a new wire installation
all is from fire proof wires

Installation done successfully , look like OEM

After fitting the engine, next problem was that engine moved forward, so there wasnt many space for the pipe from air filter to the turbo.

So i bought a SPAL slim ventilator, as stock one is really deep

here is the problem

Comparasion

and fitted, looks like OEM

Image

much more space now

Image

after completing the engine bay(all hoses connected etc), iam really satisfied how it looks

So there are a lot of news lately, but slowly we will start with the new "phase"

car was hit by an old granny ONLY 24hours from the last picture :(

and after a lot of time and patience, all was putted in the previous spot, and bumper was repaired with special material (small tube cost 100e)

Granny didn't scratch your beautiful engine? Great repair job.

Post subject:  Re: Mitsubishi Galant 1987, 4G63BT, RALLIART

nope, engine stayed intact

After getting the car in the shape before accident, i have finally decided for a full respray
that means, fixing all the extra holes, and getting the "clean look" for the bolts for side skirts and rear bumper

also removing any rust surfaces from the doors and the body. A lot of hard work for removing everything and preparing it for painting

Finally removed all the parts from the car

Should put it in a newer model car, cos that car is a cadillac of a mitsubishi.

Lets put this in perspective that you may understand.

Imagine putting that super clean, super neat powerhouse VR4 engine in our local mitsubishi magna sedan saloon, get it now?. The car has been damaged, so lets hope this gives the person the opportunity to put that setup in something more moderner, if thats a word. I understand he may live in a poor Slavic country and modern mitsubishis arnt available, but its better now then later. Its only going to benefit him, having a lighter car with more power.
