Only done a quick size up...seemed to fit and have turbo connecting up in the same position as standard. might take a tape measure out now, got me a bit worried lol.

Turbo is custom made by Steve Murch in NZ. TD05 20g, back cut, Steve Murch made compressor housing, 3 inch inlet, exhaust housing inc wastegate ported massively. Been run up to 280kw at the wheels with the right setup...which i don't have as yet lol

Trial fit today...so far so good!! Was worried bout the clearance between turbo and radiator for the dump pipe as its massive but looks like it will fit with a few cm's to spare. Going to need to mod the exhaust though as the dump runs right down under the block.

All that's left is to see if i can fit my i/c piping inbetween radiator/dump/cross member lol.

Nice...........thermos on the upstream will work well.............thought it would be tighter than that........you have plenty of room, bitch about making new intercooler piping........but at least it will be a bit shorter.

Yeh cooler piping will be a sht load shorter...just going to cut and mod what i have on at the moment, see how i go. Also hopefully go a new intake pipe coming, smoother joins and 4 inch as opposed to 3.

Andrew (2demented) you're defs on shotty for first ride, next weekend if i can hunt down a gasket for mani to head and mani to turbo.

Andrew (Bitza) absolutely MASSIVE thanks to your advice, I got the burred nut off...cold chisel and a hammer, nut stood no chance lol.

Got to final fit everything with a new gasket kit (hopefully will be picking gaskets up this arvo) and tune will either come a couple of weeks after that otherwise will be after June long weekend. Will be going with Meek as he's done all the previous tuning.

Small progress today...removed the remainder of the 2 1/2 inch down pipe that used to connect to the old evo 2 dump. New 3 inch dump needs to be fitted with no turbo and mani installed due to weird angles so that's going to have to wait until gaskets come. Found an oil leak while i was under the car...oil return pipe connection to sump needs new gaskets so nothing major.

Also had a look at the whole exhaust while i had the car up...think its time for a new one. Some areas that would definitely not be flowing at optimum. Also want an excuse to turf the canon as i want to draw as little attention as possible. Anyone got a spare 3 inch in good condition lying around lol.

How nice......looking great....are you sure the return line is leaking at the sump?

Looks like it's leaking from the first flexible bend.

That's what i originally thought but then i wasn't sure...doubted myself lol. Looks like i need another pipe, got one spare by any chance??

Im itching to get it all bolted up properly and turn it over. Getting all gaskets i need from Meek so hopefully this weekend will see everything bolted up with the exception of the exhaust.
