Theres the current pics. On the intercooler we are going to do a scoupe for the hood to feed it cold air and probably use a Co2 spray bar to cool it down.
Going for the sleeper look. The scoupe will be low key and probably reversed. The wheels fit except the rotor has bolts or nuts through it so I have to drill out the 4x100 section of the wheel to accomodate the rims.
But these are the current pics. Excuse how dirty the car is its been up at the shop for 7 months!!!!

loving that intercooler setup! certainly is unique!

i had that problem with my wheels too, they had to be sent away to be drilled out by the manufacturer. the guy at the shop said that there are only 2 cars that he knows of that have to get that done and 1 of them is obviously the cordia :(

We choose it due to space constraints and the need to be somewhat sleeper. Even a rare unknown cordia in the states with a big front intercooler people will know is not too slow. This way I keep the performance by using a Co2 spray setup and I get a much sleeker look that keeps people from knowing any better. Only tips will be a boost gauge and af mounted lower in the car and the exhaust which we are using a muffler that is 3inch in dual 2.5" out.
That will pretty much be it. I will have a digital rpm gauge with blue leds for a shift light. Already have that its just a matter of getting everything together and into the car. Hope this G63B transmission holds up!!!

Transmission will hold up. Clutch probably won't unless it's upgraded. Oh, and you can expect to go through front tyres at a reasonable rate :)

Car will be running stock 91 Eclipse ECU for a bit. The clutch is an ACT 6 puck setup for the G63B trans. Battery will most likely go in the trunk. Especially since we did use the Battery spot for the Intercooler. As far as the scoop goes. No it doesnt always mean its intercooled. Especially here in the U.s where Toyota 4 Runners Suburu Baja's Trans ams and such have scoops. I want it reveresed but we will see. Due to the way the shop did the install it will need 2 scoops anyway. 1 for the intercooler 1 because the shop didnt listen and did the engine mount incorrectly so the engine sits a bit too high so it will need a scoop. But thats fine. 2 scoops of the same size done correctly and small enough shouldnt look too bad. Lots of work left on this car. New fuel lines. New fuel pump setup (car was orginally a carbed car!) Completely custom 3 inch exhaust. Brakes need redone. Completely custom wiring. Not sure but I think this is the First U.s 4g63 Cordia to my knowledge. So we are finding out the small differences and dealing with a complete lack of information. So its been slow coming. But shes starting to come together finally.

Can anyone else read that?

Anyway, maybe cos it gives space for cooling and breathing mods, and it results in better weight distribution as well. Also helps to free up some space in the engine bay to make it easier to work in there.

Exactly
Especially in my case as the batterys area went to the intercooler.

Mine is a 91 Eclipse (Dsm) intake manifold. Depending on how far I go with this car it might get replaced at somepoint. But that exhaust manifold is going to be first

rodger your grammar elude's me sometimes
as ssb stated it gets in the way of everything and having no battery in the front cleans the bay up alot
eg

Maybe go a pusar gti-r bonnet scoop of to the side, those babys are huge and flow a LOT of air and would be very effective with your unique intercooler setup

It may look a little strange mounted to one side though :?

that box will definatly handle the pressure...almost bombproof if you drive like a sane person.

All i can say to those that you dont have a clue about relocating things,im not blind when i saw the intercooler setup,of coarsce the battery would be in the way,if you people had abit of knowledge there is a position you can place the battery without nessesitating the battery in boot job,Plus more weight in boot is gonna make the car worse, all the weight should be in the front.
Rocket gsr and all the other people Have you finally guessed where to put the baterry.

I'm starting to get a little bit pissed about the number of times you've insulted my knowledge. And by the way, the cordia is already front heavy - if you want to improve handling, weight distribution needs to go towards the rear.
