EVO85, Fours N More Automotive at Pooraka did the VR4 Front and Magna Rear disc brake conversion.

Thanks for the input guys. Should finally get the car back Tuesday / Wednesday next week. Will get more pics up ASAP.

I thought your car looked familiar as i have been taking my car there for over 5 years. Spoke to Brenton about your rear disc conversion whilst it was getting done only a couple of months ago. I think you have inspired me!

I bought the VR4 front brake setup for $400 from this forum.

The whole conversion ended up costing a fair bit in the end, what with braided lines and new pads and new Magna DBA rear discs.

I reckon the whole conversion plus the purchase of the VR4 front brake setup would have come to around the 1.5K mark!!

In hindshight, I'd say if you know anything about brakes, try and do as much of the conversion yourself as you can!!

If you want to upgrade the front brakes as well as the rears, maybe just do the AB/AC front disc upgrade, and then the Magna rear. I think it would be easier to get engineered and through Regency. I might have made it difficult for myself by using parts off of 2 different cars (VR4 / Magna). Apparently Transport SA don't like that (Well, do they like anything apart from making car enthusiasts miserable??!!)

If you do go the VR4 front & Magna rears, budget in about $350 to get the engineers certificate too!!

Still keen after all that??!! :D

my VR4 fronts were free (had to pull them off the front-cut), as were the complete rear magna setup (got the whole rear axle), then it cost me new pads and new lines, thats it, installed them myself. :)
so all up cost me about $200 tops lol

Boy racer, looks just like primer/filler to me. How else would you smooth out the panels?

Have finally got the car back from the bodyshop.

Here are the first pics of it back all in one piece!!

They were taken as the sun had almost gone down, so they really don't do any justice to the pearl effect in the paint, which looks fantastic in direct sunlight. I've included pics of the custom door trims & centre console.

Had to fix rust in the tailgate around the lights, and replace both front quarters with new panels, as well as the hatch. Also prep & fit the side skirts.

All up it came to about 3.7K!!
