Hey guys

I'll keep it nice and simple, nearly a month ago now, i purchased Gorans purple beast..

Big applaused owed to Goran, couldnt ask for any other package than this one, cheers mate

Id like to mention up front that my head lights work now! more on that later..

Mods done already(taken from the add)

-Highflowed TC06 turbo
-2.5' exhaust
-Deikin clutch
-Pedders springs and shocks all round
-Magna elites
-After market ignition module

..Since owning the car, all ive done is;
-changed the interior to later model AC seats
-install a boost gauge

-this one im quite proud of, spent half a day hiding the wires, giving the engine bay a much more cleaner look. Basically all i've done so far was move the fuse box, while doing that, i scored my head lights to work again :D

its just now that my alternator is dying..haha

Near soon mods includes;

-Installing the intercooler which is up to my size standards, haha, huge biatch
-Install the work head which i got off Goran, cheers once again mate
-Tidying up and hiding of more wires in the engine bay
-Replacement of every single gasket on the car
-Major tune up and to see how much i can safely pull from this car with light mods..

Future mods

-Defiantely a change in colour
-Larger TD05 :D
-Aftermarket comp
-Pulling some impressive numbers from the 4g62, i'll leave it at

and thats about it, cheers for reading..

will get updated pictures of it soon.

Cheers
_peter

Niceeeeeeeee! Looking good mr peter, digging the purple too!

Also nice work with the wiring mate, pretty good idea, gotta get around to doing that myself, eventually! lol

Like the idea of putting down good KW from the ol' 62, should be nice and quick with those mods *puts on heavy duty all terrain mocco running shoes from golo*

Pics, more pics :D

Nathan

lookin good pete! :) Its gona be nutz! thats it baby....see what u can pull with the 62 :D thats what im gona do. Yeh colour is nice, if u wanted to u could just add a pearl to it. I reckon thatd look pretty cool.
Oh i had a look at the centre consol, looks pretty good. Few light cracks that have been glued by the previous owner, but overall pretty clean. There is no little ashtray or little plastic cover piece that goes over the handbrake. Ill try nd get a few pics this evening nd post them up.

hey boy_racer, when i bought my car, goran decided he would keep his bonnet, that was the only bummer out of the whole buy..

danny mate, cheers for the words, still gotta meet you in person mate, and see your car aswell...have no bloody ideaa what it looks like haha..your engine should treat you good aswell..

oh, in regards to the console..i was only after the gear boot man, and that plastic thing around the handbrake...

ps.

i was only joking, my bonnet was taken off in order for me to reach into the side guards more

UPDATED : 1/04/06

My new project car folks, full resto job - basically i bought it because of the paint. after the first few days working on it, i might go another direction..

some quick details, engine is gone, cars traveled 158,XXXKM

was abit dissapointed as there was some rust, not in the easiest of places to work one, plus the job was a shifty cover up..

Image

Image

so far, all ive done is strip it as you can see..salvaged all the goodies..

and, the car has gone through stage 1; shes lost about 6Kg's of sound deadening, also the engine bay wires are going to be hidden after the engine spray job...you can see where this might take me.. :safe:

and this my friends, is the huge arse cooler to the purple beast, his sleeping atm but will make a huge come back with some nice power 8)

came at a good price plus 3' piping :safe:

cheers
