Why is cordiapower so slow to load? It takes a good two minutes for anything..........and it's not my connection!

I'm also having log in issues, it doesn't remember me.

Sometimes it takes so long to load and get access to the forum, I don't bother!

it seems to be hit and miss... sometimes its great.. other times its not... also has alot to do with traffic... if there is a few people on (looking at the list on the bottom of the main page) then it tends to be pretty slow.. if there is only a couple it generally isnt bad...

my login problem seems to have fixed its self... i did a password reset via the email jobbie and then cleared all cookies and it has been fine since... only prob i had was remembering all my passwords for other sites etc... hehe

The Cordia Power site and forum are hosted by Bizland.com (For over 7 years) in the US on a shared server.

Generally, the service is quite reasonable with only occasional downtime and drops in speed during busy periods. I have noticed though, that there service has been a bit more up and down than usual over the past few months.

Apart from the downtime (Which I have contacted them about), the occasional drops in speed are unavoidable with a forum on a shared hosting solution as forums are quite resource intensive and put substantial loads on the server.

So pretty much all the little ups and downs that arise every now and then there isn't much I can do (Due to limited control on a shared hosting solution) as they will generally fix themselves within an hour or so.

If the problems get worse let me know and I'll consider other options.

Kham

It's happening again, sllowww loading and everytime I refresh the page I have to log in!

Here's the best bit, spyware doctor keeps telling me this site has been hijacked and is now considered a high threat due to Trojans!

Every time I log on I receive 4 or more.

What's happening, don't want to lost my PC!
