i believe he's attempting to establish a section saying the stats of the problems people get with their cordias... like... why??? i dont get it.. it wont help anyone with anything... and you'd need everyone to know wtf the problem is, and everyone to like, submit as to what the problem was! wont work...

Hmmm, I think that idea is a little bit on the negative side.... Turn that frown upside down! :)

I reckon a whole section for movies would be best, ie when you go to see a movie, you write a review, so you know what movies to see.

I think posting a thread in the off topic section about a movie you've seen recently is enough, not a whole section dedicated just to movies buffs... ;)

If you want to talk movies more go to: http://www.movieforum.com/

:P

Nah, but they might be too serious, I think we need to see what movies are good from a cordia owners point of view!

whats the harm in rogercordias idea. People ask for help with their problems all the time and usually post what the problem was anyway. And in the end its up to us cordia owners as to whether we post wat the prob is. I know ill post in rogercordias idea if i have a prob that gets fixed.

hmm, the "Movies that appeal to cordia owners" forum

i think just post in off-topic, there isn't enough movie related chat going on at the moment to warrant a whole section devoted to it.

there are what, like 2 movie related threads at the moment?

there are probably more threads in technical discussion about setting your TPS - maybe we should make that a sub-forum?

-=-=-=-
and on the topic...

maybe you should start a poll in general discussion, and get one of the mods to sticky it

I think the problem is that it wont really help you that much.
If you see a page that says you have a 35% chance it is this that or whatever your no better off then if you ask (or search) because you will still be told to check the same things, the number of people that had x go wrong in their car dosen't make you any better off when trying to find your problem.

However, I think with a bit of refinement it has some potential.
You would have to do a few things though, such as be less general then "my car broke, this is what was broken". If you had the list of symptoms and then possible fixes I think it would be of more use.

I dont know if you would have to have statistics but perhaps
a faq with known fixes to common problems like the 5th gear
problems would be good.

yeh, that would be really good. So turns out rogercordia did have a really good idea, just needed some refining, not to be shot down in flames

roger, a list of everyone's top 5 problems is about as helpful as saying that the problem has a 13% chance of being that.

what other people have said is that it would be good if the top problems were listed WITH POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS to that problem, which i think would be a great idea as it would help stop people posting problems that have already been posted a million times until AFTER they have tried the solutions suggested.

Like a flow diagram of common problems followed by steps (if, then, else?) on how to located and solve your worries? That would be sweet. But not just listing your top five problems that you've had with your Cordia, that's just a little negative for me!
