I've seen on several other boards a section devoted to build ups, with the idea being that only the person that starts the topic posts in it, making it a sort of diary/blog so people can show the progress they make on projects such as engine swaps, rebuilds, resprays, complete build ups etc etc

What does everyone think?

yeah, same here..

i just think that there should be a limit to responding posts, no point in doing a build up if theres no replies.

well im about to finish the RVR swap and have heaps of good photos. all the remaval required, striping the engine (front and rear) and installing the engine.
its a good idea, not just so we can see the progress but maybe we wont have so many noob questions on shit, they can learn from the pictures. and if they do we can just post a reply with a link to the applicable photo.

I agree, sounds like a good idea, perhaps call it "Worklog" or "Project" etc so people can see how to fix things themselves. Be a bit like the FAQ'S except people can refer to these to help them with their problems. Definatley something to consider.

Cheers, Hoysta

Yup, all we need is a name, such as 'Build ups' or something similiar, and a 10 to 15 word description to go under the title. I tried to think of something but hit a complete blank and then forgot about it. If someone else can do it then it'll be all ready to go.
