gudday and hello.
too cut a mega long story short, there is a dumped cordia turbo that i checked out last night. I went in and spoke to the house it was parked out front of, and she told me she doesnt know whos it is, and just wants it gone. Been there for 3months. vandilized on the outside... Headlights and tail lights have just recently been smashed. airel ripped off, hit with hammers on panels. etc.
The gearstick has fallen through the floor... common prob. and is un-rego'd.
It had pink stickers - council collection stickers, but these have been ripped off.
I went to the cop shop with the old rego, and asked them about it. It was last registried to an owner in geelong. and they are trying to contact him.
Obviously the cops or vicroads do not want to give me his number. I have the engine # and old # plate of the car.
question is, how do i get into contact with him? He doesnt want the car. (bit more too it) But if i just tow it away which will make everyone happy.. then thats car theft.

Any help would be great. i want it before the council gets it...

cheap cordia if you can get your hands on it...if council gets it will it be auctioned or wrecked...try and track it if you can't get it yourself..

i have no idea how to help....

Here you can go to the post office and what you do is pay $3 and they give you the name and adress. What you do is that you can go on the white pages website and type in the name and adress and it gives you their phone number, you then ring them up.

would the car be blue by any chance?
And where is it now?
I know a guy who has moved from geelong to melbourne recently
and he left the car unlocked so somone would nic it. He wanted the insurance.

The guy is an absolute wanker by the way!

Steve, I would love to utilise my "connectons" for you but they have been made to sign a statement saying they cant use LEAP for personal gain/use, he has already been blasted once for doing this for one of my other mates, sorry dude, but ill see what I can do, send me a PM with all details of the car and location.

didnt know what else too do. the owner has my phone number, if the cops ended up giving it to him...
Found another one though a while back. Its a Burgundy ABGSL. Clint has seen it and knows the story about it. Checked it out again today.. still there... been there for about 1-2months now not moved.
this one has REGO! till december.
hopefully i can get into contact with this owner before it disappears

when i get into contact with the owner... and if i dont want it for whatever reason... you get second dibs Dylan. but it'll prob end up mine.
it is smashed at the front... not major..
