A few of the older posts/threads recommend the K&N, but does it really live up to the hype? More HP, better acceleration etc. The local auto parts store is having a 20% off sale and I know they have a filter in stock. Is it a good bang for your buck purchase? Thanks Ron.

Well there's that, and they don't fall apart like others do

get a K&N service kit and do what needs to be done.

Its just an air filter its not like a pod or anything like that so not MASSIVE boost in hp but it every bit helps :D

The performance gain is stuff all. If you can see or feel any performance gain, well...you're a better man than me.

I have read articles where different filters have been tested and in some instances performance has gone backwards. However, a well designed air box and air intake may reap minor rewards, but it won't be substancial.

I have a K&N pod as they are of excellent quality and don't require replacing every service; they come with a 1,000,000km warranty...
