No No No..... i didn't think i would ever be compared that way.... may have been a bad comment
on my behalf.

But the fact of matter is these cars do have lag and that is some of the character that i like
with these cars 8)

get the dump pipe, but remember.... upgrade the rest of your exhaust system too! no point 3 inch dump into standard piping and restrictive mufflers. completely defeats the purpose!

power wise and lag wise, with a full exhaust system you should notice an improvement in both. if your still not happy with the laggyness, change to a td05. the tc06 has a bigger turbine wheel and housing, so will nearly always be laggier.
:)

Got the pipe a few days ago. Im modifying my exhaust tomorrow to fit it. After talking about my needs to the exhaust shop we both agree that going 3 inch Dump to 2.5inch Straight Thru Exhaust is the best option for me. In terms of volume and cash i just cant afford the full 3inch system right now. So theyre making me a custom 3Inch flange with a reducer to a flared 2.5inch with bolts n all for $50!!! Bargain!
Ill let you all know the difference this weekend. Also ill take some pics of all the work thats being done and put em up in my ride section. And im alot happier with the lag since i tightened the actuator, Changed plugs, leads, Dizzy cap, Rotor button, Oil & Oil filter and Air filter.
Its like a new car! Boost comes on at least 500 rpm earlier and stronger when it does!

Cheers

good stuff.
before you get the new exhaust made, you might wanna just check that the dump is actually 3 inch. the reason i say this is that i have never actually seen a genuine full 3 inch dump pipe for a cordia. most of the time, they are 2.5 for the first bend and then flair into 3 inch. the reason they are normally like this, is because it is quite tight, and can be difficult to get a full 3 inch dump in there.
so if it is actually 2.5, for the first bend, it may be easier (and cheaper) to just cut the flair off and go 2.5 the whole way. this saves the exaust shop making a reducer too! ;)

yeah, changing the ignition components can help a bit sometimes. never really a bad thing to do! and tightening the actuator is always a good little trick :D
