Post subject:  What could be causing a sputter on boost?

so recently ive been able to own my cordia without having any problems for around 2 weeks :\ then something came up and i dont know how to resovle it. when in 2nd or even taking off in 1st it will sputter as in it feels like the engine cuts out for a split micro second and then back on causing the sputter sound. im not sure if " sputter " is the correct term for the problem im having but its kinda like this " BWAAA-no sound - BWAA - BWAA- no sound - BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" the " bwaa " represents the sound when boosting lol, im hoping this explains it abit better. could this be a fuel pump problem? or something to do with the bov? because i tightened it and it stopped sputtering. then i adjusted it again and now im back to the sputtering, tryed changing the bov setting but cant seem to find the right point....any help/ advice is appreciated thanks

Is you BOV plumbed back?

Are you still running the AFM?.......if so, when vacuum is applied to the BOV the engine will run "rich" as unmetered air is entering the engine........remove the BOV completely and take it for a drive.

hey bitza my BOV has been welded onto the pupe that goes from the throttle body to the turbo, if i take it off there is a open circle and the car cant get above 3000rpm, so i dont think iits the bov :\, what did you mean by afm?

He meant remove the blow off valve and block the hole mate.
Your AFM is the thing inside your air filter.

what could i block the whole with?? and how would i fit the bov back on.. :\ also nothing is inside my air filter, the afm is what its connected to..as in the pod filter itself is connect to a afm with cords on it
