Talk about a poor little orphan of a car, the Colt Vista is it. Never sold in big numbers, now Mopar and Mitsu parts for the cars are nearly all NLA. Not many mechanics around that worked on them or remember anything.

But the owners loved them! Small outside yet could haul seven people up a logging trail with the 4WD selected, and get mid-20s mpg during the weekly commute. The few enthusiasts today call it "The Swiss Army Knife of Cars".

You have to be creative and resourceful if you want to fix up orphan cars, and it helps to know other owners so you can trade ideas and parts. I got some good information here (on engines, some of which also came in Cordias), but this site isn't about Vistas. However, Texas good-guy Alan Moore has started a new site just for us.
