 Post subject: small screamer?

so on friday my car is booked.in for new petrol cyclinders and a 3" exhaust from dumppipe with a small hotdog in.the middle then straight through, so i was thinking would a small screamer pipe on my dumppipe sound shit??

you can't put a proper screamer on a tc06 because the wastegate port merges with the exaust outlet in the turbine housing. in a proper screamer these are completely seperate.
in a proper proper screamer you use an external wastegate.

both are a fair bit of work.

I don't like them anyway, sure they sound cool every now and again but would get annoying having it all the time i reckon. Plus I prefer the sound of mad spool, especially with an anti-surge cover!

screamers are fun , and the boost seems to come on alot stronger on the topend, I think there louder with a internal gate and running low boost

Im going to fit a HKS turbo, manifold, dumpipe and HKS external gate with a screamer on my cordia , I will get a vid when its running
