I had this trouble with my digital dash........I inquired at Jaycar only to be told they are not made anymore.....good thing is they sell LED replacement ones in different colours.

Look at other dashes in the wreckers.........most makes and models run the same light.

Haha I knew this would be the right question for you :)

Is it a hard job? I plan to change the dials, paint the needles and change the bulbs. With LED's do I need to solder or do they clip in?

Cheers bitza

It's quite easy to change the dial faces.......just take your time.

The LEDs are a direct fit.........just make sure they are the right way around though. :)

You can still get the incandescent globes. All of them are T5 except one which is a T10.
Autobarn usually have them in stock (clear only) and red/blue sleeves, or you can get
different colours off eBay.

My local Jaycar are always trying to push their overpriced LED's.

I made the change to LEDs in my Lancer and quickly changed back as they were not dispersing
the light over a wide enough area and left me with bright and dark spots all over my gauges.

If you do go with LEDs, make sure you get ones that are designed to disperse the light over a
wide area. And as Andrew said, make sure they are the right way round. Polarity is key so if it
doesn't light up just pull it out and turn it round.
