hi there, is this 4G32 or 4G62 carb engine, non-turbo?

Check the engine number......it's just above the alternator stamped on the block.

The engine is also RWD........what car is it in?

that's the problem... there are no more tags stamped on the engine firewall.
it's on an '82 Lancer GSR

Looks like a 1600 4G32.........the engine prefix should be part of the engine number.

^ ya, looks like it... but the registration papers says it's 1800 4G62B.
confused...

Like I said before......check the engine number stamped on the block....if it's a 4G62 it will say so.

if rego papers say 1800.

It could just be a 4g37 with a old style 32 air filter on it. but eaither way definatly not a 62. Tappet cover is Saturn one.

like andrew said though check block number
