This is mainly for the Queensland members, my mate John needs a clutch put in a daewoo lanous.......the car is located in Surfers....is anybody willing to do this for me or can you point me to a mechanic who won't charge the earth!!!

I'd do it if I knew him, but I have reservations of doing such a Job on someones car whom which I don't know.

However, I have a family friend who is an older bloke that does repairs and what not who I used to get large work done on my cars back when i first got my licence, before I got more knowledgeable.

However he is located at Beaudesert (about an hour from surfers inland) not sure if thats too far away for him (does the car still drive???)

If hes ok with that distance, I can ask Pete a cost and call John with Pete's details.

Thanks Damien.......the car won't drive (No gears) but can be towed or trucked........John is a work mate of mine here in Adelaide.....it's his wife's car in Queensland. (yes they are still married)
