Please note that second last pic is of Wizards cordia.

The corner bit was rusted underneath (where two holes are) so we cut off that piece of his car and welded it back on my car.

When it's done, complete car will be rust free for years to come.

Thank you.

It hasn't been looked after, only when you scratch the surface do you see the problems.

Overall it's coming up good, it just takes time.

Hi guys,

I hope everyone is well.

Been busy last week, father in law was not well so I've been in hospital more then I should be.

Anyway, we did make some progress.

After 12 years I've finally started another cordia :)

This time it was wizards. Started first time and it runs beautiful. No noises, cannot see any crank
movement. I think the sump plug leaks a bit but overall very happy with it.. ooh and the sound... beast

We took off the rear boot lid, under the rubber spoiler there was rust around the bolts and few layers
of paint. Wizards car original colour is blue.

Boot lid,We took it to bare metal and now welding and prep comes next.

We will also use Wizards right hand guard, under the front nose metal support and the grill.

Evo 7 radiator is not a straight fit so we will have to do few modifications to fit it.

We are also cutting little sections around the back boot as it is easier to cut them and weld them back on my car.

I hope Wizard sees this post at some point, even though I am wrecking his car, I see it more
as union of FWDJET and his car.

Body might not be yours but guts are all yours brother :)

PS: expect the fast and furious cannon at the back :) too flashy for me.

Pics below, first of Wizards car what it used to look like.

Cheers

Oh so wizards was yellow too?! That's awesome mate. No good about the father Inlaw tho. Old age gets the best of everyone.
But kudos on the cordia progress. I also got a lot done. We all need to finish ours and go on a great ocean road cruise as I've never done that before

yeah what's the chance of having 2 yellow cordias.

Not my thing, I always go for more sleeper look.

Plan is to keep that 3 inch exhaust, I don't believe it has a cat conv. so that will have to
be done later.

I want to use a flat muffler at the back , so the only thing you will see from the back
is a 3 inch tip, it will also be black.

No problem, I think Vic cordia cruise 2016 should happen? anyone?

A good friend of mine, the one that will paint the Cordia owns a few really nice cars.

This is one of them, 240 Z.

I do feel a bit bad about it but I cannot finish mine without it, to many things are missing.

Also I need to put away as many parts as I can, the day will come when only few will be left.

Half of the car will be still be wizards, interior , whole running gear, boot lid, fender, etc
