Don't know if it's just me but the red half of your rocker cover doesn't seem to be in alignment with the blue half. Good job getting the braiding on the top radiator hose. I know from experience how painful that is to do.

yeah it was weird to look at that rocker cover, I tried heaps of colors too

those braided hose covers were so hard , I only ended up doing that top hose too

Andrew can you explain why? I have seen photos of cordias with this done, and one of my cordias came with a spare pipe with BOV plumbed in. I have a greddy type s i really wanna fit!

Post subject:  Re: Cordia for auction in Melbourne tonight

In layman's terms:

The AFM is used to determine the amount of air the engine is using so it can deliver the appropriate amount of fuel. (Digital signature)

In a car with an AFM, when a BOV vents, air is escaping from a closed system.

This air has already passed through the AFM and has been measured, and the computer doesn't know that this air never made it to the engine.

This will cause a rich mixture and possible stuttering (as the computer will still deliver the correct amount fuel) based on the amount of vented air.

Therefore, if you can put up with a rich mixture between gear changes your all good, but I would fit a half vent half return BOV, that way you can still hear the "whoosh".

judging by the rear bumper i thought it was unreal too

I'm not sure its the same car though, the vent on the side of the front bar is slightly different, the auctioned one has a slight lip to it where unreal's vent was flush

edit: looking at the photos again i take that back
