Ive never been pulled over for a chek when drivin my cordz  ,
Its got Mags, a bonnet scoop, 140db plus music, most of all a big "P" on the rear window etc, (Cop magnet)
I think the reason's cause Ive havnt had the chance to drive past many yet!

Big tip

Take all turbo badging off! cept for the front grill cause they neva really see it! :)

Only when I do some dodgy shit....

Also I got stopped a bit because it didn't look roadworthy (1600 turbo)

Big primer patches, and greasy from working on it....

Just don't drive like an idiot and you'll be sweet. My car is painted Bayside Blue (R34 GTR) has a full body kit, intercooler, is lowered over 17"s has a big f*^%k off stereo, roll cage, EMS computer and sparco seats. I have never been pulled over just for an inspection - the only time cops have checked my car is when they caught me doing 95 in a 70 zone and wanted to see my mod plate for the roll cage (lucky they didn't realise that my car is too low, wheels are too big, and car too loud plus they failed to notice the fact that very few standard parts remained in my engine bay)

I've had my car back now for about 8 weeks, and I haven't been pulled over yet :D

Oh, and I've moved this to general.

i've been pulled over twice in 3 days....coz wheni first got it i was driving with no plates on it, just he permit papers......but i too want a stealth looking car, unless you plan on making it fully legal, ie engineers certs etc., which would be great, but take lots more effort and cash, then i don't want ot attract too much attention....
ie, black cooler, behind grills etc...

*looks at 100db zorts*...oops..!

Your car: 3 Litre Magna
never been harassed yet. mine does looks very stealth though, ony clues are boost gauge on dash, bloody great big front mount, and a bloody loud exhaust and it's chrome tip. as long as you aren't doing anything wrong you're unlikely to be bothered.

Been pulled over twice for too low (had to swap stock springs back in for test), and was sent a letter saying i was spotted by some cops from a booze bus at 2am and they thought my exhaust was too loud, so had to get it checked...luckily the tester was kinda dodgy and WAY too busy to be bothered dealing me me and my petty EPA notice, so he was pretty cool.

These days, before i fang it, i always have a good look around for booze busses or cop cars!

Nick.
