Went for a dyno run today, I was only running about 11-12psi cos I wasn't really after a power run, it was to see why my car was missing but I got 101.0kw in 3rd gear. Im running mega rich, about 8.6:1

Guys, I'll no longer be updating this list or the quarter times lists due to limitations on my time and patience. Thanks for you understanding.
If any of the other mods want to take over they're welcome.

yeh the same happened to me, my gauge was reading 14psi, but the microtech was reading was reading only 10psi... so the guy tuning it jus said to go half-way between the two :lol:

I gots me 146KW at the wheels with my vr4 engine using old leads and plugs yet to do a power run with irridium plugs and better leads. Anyone know what combination works best?
Running 15 psi.
Also if you advance your boos with out altering your mapping will the car run like a bitch or be damaged or what i was just thinking it might end up running lean...?

nice work 510DIA
im yet 2 go and get another dyno run cause the car is still being rebuilt (had cracked piston), and the piston was cracked on my previous run, so should be good 2 see the difference with good compression in all 4 cylinders :)

They arn't even good at going full straight line hehe.. Thats if its making decent power..

Just thinking if i should remove my boost cut or not, cus thats only thing holding me back seeing 160+kw, Then 18psi it is, which should be seeing around 170-180kw if it keeps making power and my calculations are rite, which it seems to be making alot more every time it goes on the dyno for more tweaking.

Heres results of past dyno sessions if anyone intrested;
12PSI = 138KW 11:1 AFR
14PSI = 145KW 12:1 AFR
15PSI = 158KW 12:1 AFR

alltime: Running on the 2nd of april at the clubvr4 meetup, will keep yas updated..

I wouldn't be upping to boost any more untill you're making more power at 15psi. I made 175kwatw at only 15psi, you can too. But that said, boost doesn't kill motors, power does, so boost away.

"170Kw ATW at 19psi, VR4 Cyclone engine conversion, big TD05 EVO III 16G turbo" quote your forsale info.

How does that work when your car is making that power at "19psi", now are u saying it makes more or less with less boost? You ran 19, maybe thats why your motor went Talius??

Yeh, well a BIG 16G will flow a bit more then a 14B, prob around 17-18psi would equal 15psi or so on a Big16G (extra 100CFM @ 1bar?). No idea..
Next dyno run on 18psi will only show if it still making power i guess..
