Hey guys,

Are there any off the shelf injector upgrades for the throttle body injection setups?

Get hold of injector clinic............yes they are in USA......ask for the injectors you require, unleaded are 750cc, leaded are 800cc.

No need to upgrade injectors on a standard engine setup, they flow enough to cater for a mild boost increase. No matter what size injectors you fit, the car still has center point injection. Number 1 cylinder will always be leaner than the rest. Fitting multipoint injection is pointless for anything under 18psi boost pressure power setup cordia. Seen alot of people doing multipoint conversions only to run 14psi. waste of time.

good point TheChosen1.
happy new year :)

Guys fit multi-point injection for the availability of injectors sizes...........nearly all of the Austarion does this.......when fitting multi- point it must be noted that the engine will now run more economically with a minimal power increase, this is now due to the injector in the back of the inlet valve rather than halfway up the inlet track.

No your not dreaming, I ran a 62 with no air flow meter, boost cut defender, intercooler and a 280 degree cam with 30 psi boost on a TC06 for years!

Too bad the turbo's don't last. :(

Best thing about these engines is the compression ratio, quite low at 7.6:1.
