Your car: 1988 Cordial GSR
Hi there, new to the forum.
I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1988 GSR and in the phase of acquiring parts for it for replacing and hoarding in the case of requirement :)
So far I've got it road legal and registered (even insured as a classic restoration!) and enjoying the torque steer, seems to have some heat issues under boost (Missing), rust, badly worn red paint and general maintenance etc..

I've been offered a 1983 GSL as a donor car (I'm in NZ and it's built by Todd Motors) and was wondering of the body parts would fit, in particular the front guards as mine have er.. dissolved the bottom 1/4 on each side.
I'm under the impression the mine is an AC version
the GSL I have been offered is confusing me as it has AD printed on the body tags so I may be taking this out of context.
Chassis no is CT3H24 xxxx
Engine No. dd3638 if that helps..
Trim is AD AD F5

Any help appreciated

Kempy

The panels from the 83 will fit your AC.

The guards on my old ac were horribly eaten by rust so i feel your pain. Like Bitza said, all cordia models have interchangeable panels.

Thanks for the replies, deal done and hopefully collecting it next week,
Plan is to strip it down for parts, bit of a shame as it's almost too good to strip as I've found almost zero rust, unfortunately I don't have enough space for a spare chassis.
Going to rebuild my guards using the ones from this car as a template so I have some spare as well as clean up all the removable panels and bits I might need to keep
The super shift 8 speed gearbox is pretty rad!
