Just got back into watching MCM after many years. I have to be honest, it was the evo 9 that got me interested again. But in saying that i've been going through and watching all their old videos and what got me was the Mira build. They basically sourced the 4WD version from Japan, got it sent to oz in 2 halves and then implanted the whole lot into a FWD aussie shell.

It looks like a metric shit tonne of work but it's basically what you'd have to do to make a cordia 4WD. Just wish i had the time and space to seriously consider sourcing the parts needed. I put up a link for an episode (part 6) that shows how much cutting would be required. It's worth going back to part 1 for a watch. Would be an awesome project. Especially if you could transplant the running gear from a galant or evo 3.

I have never watched it until they bought the CC coupe, but they kept calling it a evo ..lol, so it killed it for me

that would be a fast combo to do, Ive seen a early Hyundai excel with a VR4 conversion which he kept it looking stock which was good too

I have a rear libero/cyborg diff for my cordia, I just have to get off my ass and fit it all up, its not too hard, its just getting it all in one place and making it fit
