Is the standard cordia's engine mounts the same as the GSR's engine mounts? Could you do a VR4 converions to a standard Cordia?
also wanting to know if i had a standard Cordia if i could get a Cordia GSR engine and just drop into my car? Is it possible and what would be needed? Engine mounts..............etc
Thanks
Chris

to both of your posts:
in my opinion i think that if u want more power your best bet would be to save a little dosh and buy an actual GSR, this way you know what your getting, it looks better, interior, rear spoiler, black chin guard, rims:even though they are shitty. most tings in the turbo are stronger than the GSL. i know that the gear stick assembley is stronger and im pretty sure that the brakes are larger. its not just the engine you are swapping:u'll need computer, loom etc.
i know VR4's basically drop right into GSR but im not 100% sure that it will to a GSL.
i only paid $1900 for this cordia and it is mecahnically perfect (2 1/2" zorst only mod) CD Player, new engine, gearbox and turbo in 1998 and the body is straight as, so my advice is to save and get the real thing. good luck with what ever u coose to do, if you do the conversion keep us informed on how its going.
