Post subject:  Rewiring from one TPS to another
Hoping someone could shed some light here for me. I'm putting a different throttlebody on my car. I need to rewire the old TPS into the new one.

I just need some help identifying the 3 wires.

Need to cut these wires...

...and rewire into this plug.

The 3 wires in the top photo are orange, green and black. I would have to assume black is earth. Not sure about the orange and green, which one is power or signal.

The 3 wires in the bottom photo are black, green/red stripe and green/yellow stripe. Again black is probably earth.

Would anybody know if orange-->green/red stripe OR orange--green/yellow stripe?

Is there any way for me to test which is which using a voltmeter or something?

Any help is much appreciated.

Ok................for the Ford TPS.........orange (Power) Green (Signal) Black (Sensors earth)

Mitsi...........Black (Sensors earth) Green/red (Power) Green/yellow (Signal)
