ok ill start off by saying hi my name is dave and i have recently joined. :)
i have been following cordiapower for awhile now and it has been so helpful, so thank you to everyone.

i have a 1986 cordia AC GSR with a vr4 4g63t 2l dohc motor in it which came out of a running evo 1 -3.

i took the old 1.8l sohc motor out and put this in doing the passengers side mount and rebuilding the engine etc.
as the motor came with no loom or ecu i had to get them so i got a 4g63t ecu online and also a loom.

so at this stage the motor is sitting in there with the loom through firewall and connected to ecu. im just finishing some intercooler
piping and need to get a pod filter but thats small stuff i can do but im at the stage where im needing to wire the ecu in.

I have seen a few posts about it but it doesnt really give you exact wires to do so iv taken alot of pics so you can help me out and
also the many other people with these questions.

i have wired up a evo afm to this loom by the instructions below hope they are right.
i also have the loom ecu pinout and they all match up but the plugs in the engine bay are all different like nothing just clicks straight in?
also to wire in the white round plug in the top left corner that connects to your dash, is there are coloured diagram so that i dont need to pull the dash apart. all pictures are below.
so any questions, advice or help is welcome.

could only upload 3 pics

You would have been better off buying a motor from a Galant vr4 rather than the Evo. Have you sorted out what flywheel, clutch and gearbox you are going to use?

By the looks of it, your ecu and loom are out of a Galant vr4. It would be easiest and tidiest to find the right loom and computer for your engine.

The black plug is for the igniter......pretty sure the other plug in the pic is for the coils and tacho interface.

Is that where you wire in the vr4 loom as the harnes on the fire wall is gone. If not where do i wire it in thanks.

You won't need the "white" plug.............just checked both of mine and you will require the "original" wiring for the dash....it's a BIG 12 pin plug (on the drivers side)...........wire in as per standard and your dash will work.
