Has anybody else in this forum installed a Quaife diff in their KM164 I have had mine in for about 3 months and I must say it is pretty good, rebuilt box new synchros rebuilt gear linkages very nice now.

Nup. But looking at rebuilding another box for the 2 litre in the near future. So nice LSD you'd say?

You'd be better off with a Phantom Grip,:) these diffs shit the side gears, and they are not a TRUE LSD.

Sorry, just thought somebody might be interested in a nice diff for a daily driver and I thought I may share the process of fitting one. Does any one have any experience with a phantom grip in a Cordia. and is there a specific model for the Cordia or does everybody have to work it all out for themselves.

True they are not a "TRUE LSD" much better for a front wheel drive street car.

You will need to get another driveshaft made though, speedo gear from Cordia diff fits Quaife QDH7B, TR Magna inner tripod joints and gearbox seals with larger inner diameter to suit magna inner CVs

Why not do the equal length drive?........has nearly eliminated torque steer in my car with a conventional diff.

Very nice bud, the Quaife is more forgiving over other diffs (better for street driven fwd's).

I still might do the equal length driveshaft conversion but can't seem to find your write up on it Andrew, could somebody post a link and is there a way of doing it without massaging the sump?

I think you'll find it was on the old cordiafreaks site which has now been decommissioned.......looks like I'll have to do a re-write.
