roger, maybe if u use a 2.4L express mnaifold you will get into the 13 second club
go buy one, get a flow test, get some eveidence. untill then shut up. u just admitted you dont even know. and if u havent even seen one how the fudge do you know all ports line up and all bolt holes line up. there are some noobs on this site roger. if they repeatedly read you saying to get the express manifold they will do it. think before you talk.

The Hyundai Sonata uses a rebranded Mitsubishi engine, it is the exact same manifold that is on the SOHC Galant. From what I can tell Hyundai didn't want to go through the massive expense of developing their own engines when they were first starting out so they bought the rights to use the Mitsubishi ones.

your running a 14.8 instead of a 15.5!! that not even a second roger, u are running .7 seconds quicker....now that would be quite good if u were running 13.5 and that .7 got u into the 12's but your not. 14.8 is not a quick car. considering when the GSR's came out they were runnig 15's anyway.

Alright to settle this, the L300/Express Van's MPI Manifold along with the 2 into 4 runner Galant MPI Manifold is designed for low-down torque, hence reduced top-end power on a Cordia compared to running the Sonata/Mitsubishi Galant 4 runners from plenum Design

If you don't believe me, look at the where Max power/torque was achieved on the L300s' compared to the Sonata's....that should tell you straight away which one flows more

It's not my money though so go and buy the L300/Express one if you believe the centre-positioned t/b is somehow going to flow more.......

Remember the night at the drags when it was low and sxy cordia vs rogercordia,Steve did a 15.7 and his car is stock, you probably know by now.his car is stock and factory specs everything, exept the massive muffler at the back.

Now i did a 14.8 thats the result of wheelspin in 1st and second.NOW thats a whole second.cordi4 You still cant regret your words,

Just out of curiosity, what times is your cordia doing,Dont think im gonna be impressed if you say you done a 12/13/14 seconds with a hiflow turbo,20 psi,and a 3 inch zorst. Why are you contra indicating what im saying?YOU KNOW WHY,for the 20 millionth time- when i was doing the mods that i have done(ic-rad).you and a few others always said,or actually insisting, that im doing a waste of time mod,its not gonna achieve nothing with my quatre times,im only going to reach 15.2 the most.
Well after proving you all wrong,i made you look all stupid infront of the 1013 forum members, cos they looked at you and thougth you were right all along but you wearnt.

Roger, what do you care what others think about your Cordia ?

So long as your happy then don't worry about what anyone else says, in fact bet them $100 or so to race you down 400m if they're in your state, 'cause honestly if I was in your position, I would take full advantage of it

I've got a stock-engined cordia - standard pistons, boost, EVERYTHING straight from the factory. Anyone wanna race for cash? Also open to a bet where the loser has to go back and re-do year 7 english.

Hey,

That would be great, a rough price breakdown would be nice as well :-)

Cheers

for mine; i think it cost me $350 for the MPI manifold with throttle body; then you need injectors, which prices vary on size (150/200-whatever); then engine management; which is bout $1300 for a new wold, then tuning, which is $110/hr and takes 2-3hrs. total: alot.

edit: +installation of EMS which is $495
