Don't bother, regular plugs work just fine in a cordia.

Agreed, I was sussing this out meyself and NGK (when I rang them) actually said stick with the standard ones except try going for Prjected/Resistor type plugs and it should feel a little smoother on idle.

Ive just recently replaced my spark plugs. This time I used
NGK Iridiums and I have to say that it idles better particularly
when I first start it cold. (They cost $65)

I used to use the Bosch super 4's but these are better(and more
expensive).

Ive noticed no difference in peak power though.

Yep projected plugs are better I've found, they basically cause a spark deeper (therefore more central) inside the cylinder. Irridiums are the bomb I have heard, they wont give you any more power, maybe better throttle response if anything, but they have solved a few people's various problems. And yes they cost heaps, but are good for like 70,000km.

I have been to bursons and they said there are no NGK Iridums for a cordia, I put these in all my cars and they always make a difference but there best suited to turbo engines

NGK Iridium - $65 a pack

NGK Normal - $15 a pack

I know what spark plugs I'd be choosing....

I definetely recommend the iridiums.

There only $65, even if you think they dont work any
better than ordinary plugs then its not a big loss.

Also they last about twice as long as ordinary plugs so that
offsets some of the cost.

Like I said they really improved my idle especially when cold.

they last for 100000kays so they actually work out cheaper if normals only last 10000!

You don't actually have to replace spark plugs very often now that we have unleaded fuel, I'd just change them every 30k, you can inspect them at 10k, but I think they should be fine.
