Any one know were to find any diagrams on the 4wd gearbox going to attempt a strip down inspection
any help at all would be great[/b]

I'd say your gonna be on your own with that, there's very little info on the Cordia 4WD available. You could probably get most of what you need from the Cordia FWD and VR4 manuals. Did you buy that white 4WD Cordia that was on trademe a while back with the gbox problems?

What is the model number of the gearbox?

There are several links in this forum that point to information regarding gearboxes. And also some info on the net.
Try the links that I recently posted regarding 4g63 manuals and see if that helps.

YES THE WHITE ONE JUST PURCHASED IT FROM THE GUY WHO BOUGHT IT OF TRADEME HE HADNT TOUCHED IT CLOSER INSPECTION TODAY SHOWS A SHATTERED HUB BEARING COULD BE ALL THAT WAS WRONG WITH IT WOULD EXPLAIN ORIGINAL SYMPTOMS OF IT MOVING THEN LOCKING UP BOX FEELS OK



AB WERE IN WELLY TO IF YOUR EVERY IN NEED OF ANY CORDIA BITS ALL ORIGINAL AB AC GSR PARTS

I don't really drive my Cordia any more so probably wont need any bits, cheers anyway.

Good luck with the 4wd, it'd be nice to see one that is actually driveable, all the ones i've seen have been in bits. There's a lot of autocrosses on in Wellington, I bet it'd do pretty well.
