 Post subject: conversion problem!

im doin a gsl to gsr conversion
does anybody no what to do with the pedals
cause of the mountings for clutch are different and in different positions
how do i overcome this problem

hey mate, how far into the project are you?? because to be honest its a hell of alot cheaper and a shit load easier to just buy a GSR.what sort of clutch are you going to run?? hydraulic or cable??

im fitting a hydraulic clutch i dont see the point in selling it to buy a turbo one
i bought a parts one
so im keeping my already painted n partly retrimmed gsl
pretty much got conversion done now actualy
only need to finish installing new loom, drop motor in,mount fuel pump and away we go with new rebuilt motor too =]

sounds like fun.... My first cordia had been converted from a GSL and it had a hydraulic clutch, so presumably they found a way around that problem. see if the firewall has mounting points in the correct position you may have to drill them yourself.
