Hey, ive noticed the td** series turbo's have a rather small exhaust A/F, has anyone put a tco6 onto a VR4? Im sure it would feel more at home on a 2.0L DOHC and should be good on top end as well as down low with the torque' 2.0L. Anyone?

i would think the lag would become rather large, the beauty of the TD turbo is it's ability to hit full boost at 3000 rpm, You're right though, the TC might work really well on a 2.0. I'd be invlided to think it'd spoil the incredible bottom end of the TD05. with my 2.0 as it is I never need to use 2nd gear (except for drags) as theres just so much down low. I'd be lying to say I wouldn't enjoy more top end push, but the torque i get now, oh the torque.

Yeah, the TD series turbo's arn't very responsive, on my 1600 carby turbo with a TC04, you don't get much boost in first gear, only spools up at about 4500, where in other gears you'll get boost at about 2500..

You don't rev it much abouve 5000 either with the 4G32B...

tdo5 is to small, no point having a big exhaust side with a small compressor. Need something bigger.. im sure a tco6 would breath good on a vr4 tho..

I'm starting to agree a bit here, biug banh power output might go someway to prolonging the life of a gearbox or two as well since it wouldn't try to twist the shite out of it at low rpm
