I am collecting Cordia turbo gearboxes for my stash of parts. Doesn't matter if it is blown. Adelaide sellers preferred.

PM me if you have one that you want to get rid of.

They are very strong mate, don’t you worry about that.

Even with 180kw, sticky tyres and an aggressive clutch, I haven’t managed to break one.

Well you see, I don’t plan on selling my cordia any time soon. This is why I have collected so many gearboxes. Up till now they have not been a problem. But, with the power I intend on making at the end of the year the stock gearbox may become an issue. Especially if I throw a set of slicks on her as well.

Where did 6 come from! You may be asking. Well, I was fortunate in the sense that my dad was crazy about cordia’s back in the day. He wreaked many over the years and has collected heaps of spares, all of which I now own :)

No they can handle a bit of power actually. I've never seen one broken from outright power, there is normally some cause ie. abuse, poor maintenance, metal fatigue.

My gearboxes are apart and washed up ready to build one really good box. Trouble is that, with the parts I have, the best I could rate the box would be a 7.5/10. So I am looking to find more boxes to build a really good gearbox. Nearly all parts other than bearings and seals are obsolete.
