Extra Info: Engine has only clocked 3,000kms. Fitted with JE forged pistons, BC 272/272 cams with BC Heavy duty valve springs and retainers, Fidanza adjustable cam gears, flowed head, metal head gasket, Gates Racing Timing belt, 700cc Power Enterprise fuel injectors, Sard fuel pressure regulator, polished cam rocker cover and intake manifold, Zaklee clear cam cover, Meek 2 1/2" alloy throttle body elbow etc.

Does not include turbo and associated turbo parts such as manifold and heat shield.

This engine rebuild owes me close to $10,000 so take advantage of my loss.

It made 226.3 wheel kw's on only 18psi with an Evo 3/20g and the car was defected a couple of weeks later and subsequently taken off the road and kept in storage ever since.

Extra Info:Custom made exhaust by Exhaust Technology. Includes 3 inch dump pipe, into mild steel straight pipe with stainless steel high-flow cat converter into stainless steel 3 inch piping and JUN BL muffler (quality Jap brand that normally retails at $700). Includes silencer for the muffler (not in photo). It'll bolt straight on with no modifications and is very high flowing. Sounds awesome as well!

awell, a few people will get some really great parts out of it at least

i may be interested in the wheels. can you measure the centres for me? i have been having trouble finding rims with big enough centres for the lancer GSR hubs lol.
also:

does this mean that there are 4 tyres, 2 that are 50% (and the other 2 are good)?
or
does it mean that 2 wheels have tyres that are 50% and the other 2 have no tyres?

Ask anyone who has built anything like this how much it costs. $6,250 for a brand new forged engine (with proven results), 400hp turbo and Microtech (tuned) IMO is a steal.

I wish in life it were possible to get champagne for everything at a beer price!

What are you doing with the rest of the car?

The centres are 150mm.



It'll be up for grabs to the highest bidder (within reason). It would be a perfect opportunity for someone drop their own 4G62T or 63 into. The chassis has been engineered (still go the full engineering report), there is no sign whatsoever of crash or structural damage... and Jon (who pulled the motor out over the weekend) would testify that the body and paint job is still show quality. The bodywork and paint alone cost me $7,000 with receipts.

Epic i must say.

Anyone who has ever properly built an engine like this one will be familiar with how much research, time, money and labour is involved with producing a final product as such. Seriously, someone buy this engine already and score yourselves a BARGAIN!!!! I would hate to see this engine planted into a dirty little lancer.

I love them! but there are soooooo many mock up early model evo’s it’s starting to turn me off my childhood dream car, to the point where my next car will probably be a Nissan (Yep I went there!). Seeing 18y old gangsters driving around in evo3 kitted up glxi lancers dragging preludes is really killing is for Evo enthusiasts.

I guess there is some good that comes out of Evo wannabes floating around the place - it helps real Evos to blend in and go unnoticed by the police... unless you have modified your Evo VI like mine! To be honest, I think you may regret going to a Nissan (Skyline, silvia, cefiro etc.) and modifying it for the street as you will get pulled over and reamed for the car that is, not just because it's too low or too loud. Fortunately, Evos are rare (especially early models) so they don't seem to get attention from anyone other than those who know what it really is.

i would love to buy them, they are one of the best looking FWD fitting rim i have ever seen! but at the moment, can't quite justify it. goodluck with the rest of your stuff! wouldn't think you would have much trouble selling most of it between here and 4gtuner

^^ No worries mate. I have had quite a bit of interest on most of the parts (rims included). There obviously is a lot of quality one off parts on offer but it's just a matter of finding somebody that's got money and is willing to part with it. Things are selling slowly but surely...
