if you can pop the barrel out the locksmiths can make a key aswell Im pretty sure

Yeah I heard about that. But silly me gave the ignition to a so called 'mate' do to that for me. And just my luck. He lost it then moved to the western suburbs

not good, try harveys wreckers in Langwarrin , they usualy have a cordia there, not sure if the keys will be there , but worth alook

I've been going there for years. Closest thing to a cordia is a Magna or the other month had an earlier model galant. I managed to make that ignition work but the column surround doesn't fit so looking for an orginal piece. Can't say I've ever seen a cordia there tho. Don't tell me that I missed out on part goodness !?

Ive got some mint parts from that place, and they are more into the ford and holden side so mits parts are cheaper

Yeah my mate bought the 4g64? Block I believe. Think the nimbus is gone now tho
