Anyone in NZ should try there local Mitzy Dealer/Workshop.
They have a national database of parts stocked in the country and can order parts, arriving the next day. And can order parts from overseas aswell, dont know how long that will take.

I dont know what things are like over in Aust. Hope its the same. Sounds like its not.

Hey guys,
Just got my throttle body re-seal kit a few weeks ago from City Mitsubishi here in Brisbane. They ordered it in from the warehouse in Sydney. The only problem I had was due to the part no longer being listed on the Mitsubishis computers. I overcame this by quoting them the part number MD608932 for AB models but I'm pretty sure the're all the same.

Called Mitsubishi here in melbourne and they said that they have none left in ALL of Australia, including all of the warehouses... you must have taken the last one!

I'm going to an injector place today to see if they can match up some of the o-rings and seats for the injectors... i guess that's the best we can do now

Yeah when the guys checked the warehouse in Sydney they said there was only one kit left. However I just pulled a fairly new set of seals out of a wrecked cordia along with the injectors and neither of them leak. You just have to look around.

If anyone is looking to rekit there throttle body, and you can wait
a couple of weeks for the kit then you can get them from the US.

Buy a kit for a starion 2.6, it comes with all seals and the base gasket.
And it is the same as for a Cordia.

I paid US$20 for the kit plus US$7 postage. All up that worked out to
be about A$36. It took about 2 weeks to get to my door.

There are lots of online parts places that sell these kits and also a
guy on ebay is selling them.

If anyone is interested I bought the md608932 seal kit, cost me $81.
Ordered from sydney they have 11 in stock.

I can't really see the value in it just a little bag full of rubber rings, except you can't get it anywhere else.
Havn't dropped it in yet.
