Hornsby? Is that the meet up point? Isn't that abit out of reach for some people, what about liverpool kk as its in the central district of sydney.

for those guys that live in around liverpool, did you guys want to meet up before hand to go on to hornsby.. the only reason i was thinking hornsby is because of those people attending from the central coast.. otherwise we can start the cruise from liverpool

Dammit, looks like i'm not going then. 2 night shifts, friday and saturday night, dammit. If it changes to the sunday 25th i'll probably be there.

Can i make a suggestion too. if you start at hornsby go down through galston gorge and onto wisemans ferry. have some lunch at the nice little pub there, and head back home. You can actually drive your car without stopping every 5 seconds at traffic lights, and its a nice drive.
Something to consider at least.

Have fun Kev on the 400 to 500km round trip if you go. I'll be thinking of you ( wishing I went as well probably )

Have fun , Brad

If you start the cruise @ Hornsby you'll find you'll be losing people along the way. Another suggestion would be the most popular meetup point in Sydney: Homebush P6 Carpark.

A good destination would be a beach or something where we could get some good shots of the abundant red cordias

i'm going to come up with a few ideas, and keep in mind i'm trying to think of locations of where people are coming from, ease of finding the place and catching up wiyh us if they are left behind, places to park and eat, roads etc..

First idea:

Homebush P6 Carpark (thanx for reminding OGE33Z)
from there up hombush drive/ lanecove rd/ mona vale rd.
to St. Ives village.. (plenty of parking from memory, and a macca's.. this complex is just accross from a oval where we'll park)

we could go so far as mona vale or dee why if people wanted, but i'm thinking that would be way to far up north..

i'm going to go there in the next couple of days to check it out.. it's not a big drive from hombush but still a little cruise for us to catch up.. anyway just a sugestion so far, let me no what you think. FEED BACK??

it's a decent length trip to singleton and back.

I need to sort out 5th gear before this event it seems... as i dont like cruising at 4-4.5k rpm.

and i wasnt making no excuses! i was saying that lack of licence aint an excuse!

and kev man... you only get responsible mates when you get to your age :P

My car is currently off the road but i plan to fix the gearbox/clutch problem in the next few weeks, so if all is good i should be able to make it. Homebush sounds like a good meetup place but any cordia meet is good.

First idea: (ran the cruise in the car the other day, wasn't to bad, at the same time wasn't to much parking, but it was a friday..

Homebush P6 Carpark (thanx for reminding OGE33Z)
from there up hombush drive/ lanecove rd/ mona vale rd.
to St. Ives village.. (plenty of parking from memory, and a macca's.. this complex is just accross from a oval where we'll park)

Second idea:

Homebush P6 Carpark
from there up hombush drive down victoria rd to parramatta stadium (just down the road from maccas.. maccas carpark is usually packed)

third idea: (Which is always a good turn out)

Homebush P6 Carpark
down great western hwy or western mwy
to penrith krispys

Fourth idea: (Beach cruise)

Homebush P6 Carpark
from there up hombush drive/ lane cove rd/ epping rd/ fullers rd
pacific hwy/ boundary st/ warringah rd/ wakehurst pwy
down pittwater road/ birdwood av (carpark)
to Narrabeen beach

Fifth idea:

Homebush P6 Carpark
up hombush drive/ lanecove rd, pacific hwy to meet up in Hornsby somewhere.. people from sydney can meet up for the cruise at Homebush, and people from the coast can either come for the cruise or just for the met up at Hornsby..

What do people think?? Any suggestions, the thing is i can't go ahead with an idea without some approval.. FEED BACK..?

Homebush P6 Hmmmm, Sounds like a cop fest for defects and fines, i would prefer to meet up somewhere low tech, afterall its only a cruise with a few cars and not a major gathering.

I think penrith might be a good idea. We could play some aqua golf and go into Panthers for lunch or something instead of just hanging outside in a carpark.

But then again I wouldn't say no to Narrabeen beach, nice setting even though i have no clue how to get there.

Hope that helps newy
