FYI!!!!!!
Problem sovled
Spent a few hours on it today turbo change valve stem seals cleaned every thing no more smoke
Dont think it was the stem seal as the all look pretty ok accept for no.1 inlet BUT they are done now turbo is on looks good few minor leaks from stuff we ran out of day light QUICK! didnt have the head torqued down till 530 - 6 and well had no daylight left so work in the dark for a bit got it started
sound great dosnt blow smoke cept for whats left in the exhaust but that mostly burnt away in the first 2 mins of reving.
cannot boost due to the turbo we got has the compressor housing on a 15 deg angle compared to stock, and stock cross over will not fit in so it was running 0 vac, any smoke it blew was prolly from over fueling but yeh all sorted!!!!
all in all took about 8 hours of work
Head off
turbo off
manifolds cleaned
replaced valve stem seals
turbo and head back on exhaust manifold bolted back up
needs a tune and a custom cross over, i have a cheap solution already worked out just gotta measure some things.
REALLY dont feel like taking the turbo off again and working out how to rotate the comp housing
