 Post subject: GSR 1989 galant question

hey guys just wondering if anyone can confirm the gearbox in a GSR 1989 galant will bolt onto a 4G93 engine, has anyone tryed this before? ive googled and searched yet cant seem to find any information

the engine the gearbox is coming out from is a 4G63

no it does not bolt on. found out the hard way payed 340$ for it and the dikhead wouldnt give me my money back
if anyone in S.A is looking for a box then pm me. will sell it for 150 since i got WAAY over priced

Out of interest, why wouldn't the gearbox fit?

GSR is hydrollic clutch, the gear box from the galant is cable clutch, vaccum placement looks like its in a different position, but it got told the bolt positioning is the same :\ and it was from a VR4 engine. i was planning on putting that gearbox on my 4G93T engine.
