got more bad news.
the mob i mention http://www.aagaskets.com.au/about.aspx
there fudged made me do the run around in the end they only
make the 2L gaskets don't waste your time.

here is a reply to my email i sent them.

Hi Fernando,

Sorry to hear about your bad experience.
The head gasket available is interchangeable between the 4g62 and 4g63. Usually a larger fire ring may lower engine compression but in this case it’s an insignificant amount and will not affect the application in a 4g62.
Though it may seem large on the block the valve release on the head is actually larger than that of 82mm.

We apologise for the inconvenience but hopefully that answers your questions.
Kind Regards
William Yue | Customer Services | AA Gaskets

i would like to reply tell him to go f... him self
when i rang him he said his gasket is exact 82mm fr

i've also put up a post else where and someone has replied

At first I thought that your engine might have been overbored. According to what I've read, the 4G62 engine has a bore of 80mm, not 82mm. However, 2mm converts to almost 79 thousandths of an inch, which is way too much for an overbore.

I've read that Mitsubishi also sold some units from the 4G62 engine family to Hyundai. There was a version with an 81.6mm bore, (very close to your 82mm), known as the G4CN. Perhaps a previous owner dropped one of these engines into the car you have. If you have the larger bore G4CN, you might be able to find the correct gasket for it.

The standard gasket is 82mm to allow for overbore........yes the standard piston is 80.6mm, better than 3mm on an 85mm gasket.

You can see in my pic that the edge of the bore is slightly seen.

That is a decent looking gasket. Looks like it is coated AND has the molded rubber seal too. Info please.

I will check over the weekend to see if I have a spare fan among my parts & let you know. Otherwise if not, whatever the gasket owes you I will happily pay it.
