Might have been the one I was messaging you about??, looks like it has developed quite a bit of rust since then.

I'm trying to get time off work this weekend to go look at this one https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/devonpo ... 1162918528

Hi, the very clean white 12/84 AB GLS in Adelaide was mine. Interior is amazing, and the body and underside has absolutely no rot, just stone chips from country running.
For those who are interested, and to share the knowledge of what these cars are currently worth, it sold for $2,300. It has no air cond, but does have power steering, electric windows, electric mirrors, headlight washers and period aftermarket alloys. It was a 1 owner car with a full selling dealer log book history over its 220,000km. It drives like it has 80,000 km on it.
It sold to a middle aged car enthusiast who intends to get club registration on it and take it on club runs.
For me, I still have a silver GSR to now work on. Unfortunately, the GSR is not as tidy, so its a project.

I would be interested to know any thoughts on the low KM GSL in Tassie, whether it is as good as it looks. I would have thought it would have been worth someone flying there and ferrying it back.
Also, for my AB GSR project, does anybody know whether all the exterior plastic trims and the trim clips are available? I am thinking that if I repaint the GSR, it would be nice to tidy up all the trim.
Thanks all, I follow this forum, but post very little.
Ken.

Wow. that's very nice. Looks even better in your photos than it did on Gumtree.

Thanks also to those to replied regarding my plans for my GSR project. I will post some images of the car in the appropriate section on this forum once I take it out of storage, probably over Christmas.

I'm surprised it doesn't have electric windows for a GSL.

In answer to a previous post, I bought the Red Cordia Turbo that was for sale for $6700. I like it so much I bought a 1984 Turbo as well. You cant get me out of them! they are both on Vic club reg. I have never owned a Japanese car in my 51 years on earth, not sure why probably because they tried to invade us 70 or so years ago!! Silly me! I was the one missing out! I get quite a few likes from people saying they havent seen one in ages and loved them when they were around! that makes you feel good! but best is driving such a light and nimble old car ! I say pretty cool, my kids dont get it but they are not old enough. i am new to the Forum , thanks for having me on board and look forward to chatting in the future. Guy

Very true, not many people understand it but hey , why be like everyone else :)

I will always have a soft spot for Cordia's , and when I see one on the road I get very exited, like a fat kid in a candy store hehe

I have couple of muscle cars these days and a Porsche but honestly I would be happy with a simple AB GSR turbo.

Keep it up!
