dont drive off the line i did a 2.0 60ft letting it go at 5000rpm but stuffed the rest of the gear changes, it stuck, if you take it to the drags dont be shy about it you will find the sweet spot just takes a couple of goes at it.....but like ox!gen said hammer the gear changes, and you sould have a flyer. dont start in second gear......................................ps. if you take it to the track let your tyre pressure down to about 20psi.

Well finally ran my AC GSR and I got what I expected, my estimate was mid 15s and my best time was 15.489 @ 88.12MPH.
My worst was 16.2.

I also beat my mates EL XR6. He has always insisted that his car is faster than mine even though we have race before many times and I have beaten him so I told him to wait til we get it on paper at the drags. He didnt have much to say after his best was 15.494, I beat him by 100th of a second, but winning is winning right.

The next time I go will hopefully be when the 2L is in, the extra 41kw wont go a stray 8)

Specs:
AC GSR
K&N in cut airbox
CAI
RX7 FMIC
16PSI
Removed Wastegate Plate  (I heard all these Habibs yelling out "Hey its a V8 Cordia Turbo!!)

ox!gen

i got heaps of wheelspin in 2nd down at the drags and was running good 205's with 15psi tyre pressure. This wheelspin started at around 3500 as it hit boost in 2nd. The wheel spin could have something to do with me trying to fight the torquesteer.

have you had a chance to run your car at the drags yet?

I think as long as people state whether the time they are claiming is G-Tech or track, then there's no problem. Would definately take a track time as being more accurate over G-tech though. Too many variables with the G-tech that can result in a false reading.

Hi back again got rid of the Cordia 1.6L GSL
and upgraded to a Cordia GSR 1.8L turbo

you might remember my 1/4 time used to be 19secs
i have now just improved with the new cordia turbo tp 14.8 secs

with slight mods like full exaust system thanks to Remus
and with a great Tune ..

but now i am about due for another tune since i had done this run...

hope to get betta - might have to get my self new injectors - front mount intercooler - BOV - Apex-i computer - upgrade my brakes to something with alot more stopping power then some fatter front tyres for the faster 0- 60kph launch.

Hey guys, ran mine down heathcote yesterday. 37C heat! Anyway 14.92@96.19mph 2.4sec 60ft. was running about 5-6psi. :(

Mods, VR4 conversion with stinger 4424 ems, 3" exhaust 4" cannonball tip, Kuhmo tyres.

Should get it down with colder weather and a tune-up, but thats it for now

Cheers,
Nick
